Pune: Firing In KP Area, Attack On Young Man After Celebrating His Birthday
Koregaon Park, 25th November 2022: A young man, who was on his way home after celebrating his birthday with friends at a renowned hotel in the Koregaon Park area of Pune, was attacked by five to six people. The incident took place on Thursday (November 24) morning. A young man was seriously injured in this attack, and a case has been registered against the concerned accused.
Imran Hameed Shaikh (30), a resident of Tadiwala Road, Bund Garden, has lodged a complaint in this regard. The seriously injured youth has been identified as Sagar Kolnati (36). A case has been registered at Koregaon Park Police Station against four to five people, including Sonya Dodamani, Nakki alias Rohan Nigde, Nitin Mhaske, and Dhar Ajya.
More information, in this case, is that the complainant had gathered with some of his friends for a friend’s birthday party at Hotel Rock Water in Koregaon Park. The accused, Sonya Dodamani, and others assaulted Sagar Kolnati at around 4.00 am when he was returning on his two-wheeler after the party.
Accused Sonya took out the gun from his waistband and fired the bullet in the air. The other accused beat Sagar on the face with a paper block lying on the pavement.
A young man, Sagar, has been seriously injured in the said fight. The complainant, along with others, has been injured. A case has been registered at Koregaon Park Police Station, and further investigation is underway.
