Pune, 25th September 2021: IM Vikramaditya Kulkarni of Railway, FM Suyog Wagh of Ahmednagar, Sidhant Gaikwad of Pune,  

Gaurav Zagade of Pune, Akash Dalvi of Thane moved into the joint lead with 4points at the end of the 4th round at the 18th edition of Shri Maheshwaranand Saraswati Memorial Maharashtra Open Rapid Rating Chess Tournament which will be organized by Buddhibal Kreeda Trust and played at Manohar Mangal Karyalay, Erandwane, Karve Road, Pune  

The tournament was inaugurated at the hands of Saurabh Gadgil, MD of PNG Jewellers, Madhuri Sahasrabudhe, Corporator, Niranjan Godbole, Secretary of MCA, Prakash Kunte, trustee of BKT.

Nirgun Keval (Pune)(3pts) lost to IM Vikramaditya Kulkarni(RLY)(4pts); FM Suyog Wagh(Ahmednagar)(4pts) bt Tushar Kuwar (Palghar)(3pts); Nameet Chavan (Pune)(3pts) lost to Sidhant Gaikwad (Pune)(4pts); Gaurav Zagade(Pune)(4pts) bt Pratik Gengaje (Raigad)(3pts); Akash Dalvi (Thane)(4pts) bt Harshal Patil(Pune)(3pts); Vikas Sharma (Pune)(2.5pts) lost to Aditya Bartakke (Thane)(3.5pts); Akhilesh Nagare (Ahmednagar)(2.5pts) lost to Yohan Borucha (Mumbai)(3.5pts);

FM Aditya Samant(Pune)(3.5pts) drew with WIM Aakanksha Hagawane (Pune)(3.5pts)

IM Sameer Kathmale (Sangli)(3.5pts) drew with Om Lamkane(Pune(3.5pts)
