Pune: Five-Year-Old Girl Saved From Abuse Due To Vigilant Citizen
Yerwada, 28th November 2022: Vigilant citizens have prevented the incident of abuse of a five-year-old daughter of a woman selling balloons. The Yerwada police have arrested a drunken accused in this case.
Ramtek Bahadur (35), a resident of Vadgaonsheri has been arrested in this regard. A 40-year-old woman has filed a complaint at Yerwada police station.
The complainant woman resides in New Khadki area and sells balloons at signals in Yerwada area. On Saturday (November 26), she was sleeping with her daughter in Kalyaninagar area around 11 pm due to a quarrel with her husband.
At that time, Bahadur, who was drunk, took the five-year-old girl besides from her sleeping mother. He picked her up and tried to abuse her near an abandoned building.
At that time, Navnath Adagale, who was passing by the area, heard the girl crying. So when he searched in the nearby area, it was seen that the accused was trying to molest the girl. Navnath rescued the girl and informed the police. Adagale has been praised by the police for his vigilance.
