Pune: Fraud Of Nearly Rs 30 Lakh With Lure Of Investing In Stock Market
Pune, 5th October 2022: The Kothrud police have registered a case against three persons in the case of defrauding one of Rs 29.5 lakh.
In this regard, a case has been registered against Vishalbhai Govindbhai Rawal (26), Mayurbhai Chaudhary, and Gopalbhai Rawal, all are residents of Gujarat. One has filed a complaint at the Kothrud police station.
The complainant is originally from Solapur. He was introduced to the accused Rawal, Chaudhary through an acquaintance. The accused had lured the complainant that investing in the stock market would give good returns.
The accused met the complainant in the Kothrud area. Rs 29.5 lakh were taken from him from time to time. After paying the money to the accused, no refund was given to the complainant. After being asked about the money, the accused gave vague answers.
After realising the fraud, the complainant lodged a complaint with the police. Sub-Inspector Savale of Police is investigating the matter further.
