Pune: Fraud Of Rs 14 Lakh With Lure Of Railway Jobs, Case Registered Against One

Kothrud, 29th November 2022: It has come to light that a person from the Kothrud area was cheated of Rs 14.18 lakh. A case has been registered by the Kothrud police in this regard.

 

The name of the accused is Subhash Chandra Katoch, a resident of BARC Colony, Anushaktinagar, Mumbai. A complaint was filed at the Kothrud police station. The complainant lives in the Kothrud area and works in the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC).

 

 

Accused Katoch and the complainant knew each other for a few months. Katoch lured the complainant’s daughter and nephew to get jobs in the railways. Katoch then called them to meet at the Railway Hospital in Varanasi, a hotel in Hajipur, and Delhi as well.

 

Rs 14.18 was extorted from them from time to time with the lure of getting a job in the railways. Meanwhile, the complainant’s daughter and nephew were not employed. After realising the fraud, he lodged a complaint with the police. Police sub-inspector Kajol Yadav is investigating the matter further.
