Pune: Fraud Of Rs Six Lakh By Selling Same Car To Two People
Khed, 11th January 2023: A customer has been cheated of Rs six lakh by selling the same car to two people. The incident took place in Rase village near Khed from July 22 to January 9.
Ganesh Abu Mangse (45), a resident of Raje, Khed, filed a complaint at Chakan Police Station, and a case of fraud has been registered against Sunny Sunil Date (33), a resident of Pashan.
According to the information provided by the police, the accused traded a Maruti Suzuki Brezza VDI car with the complainant. Accordingly, the complainant paid Rs 6.20 lakh to the accused and took possession of the car. But it came to light that the accused had sold this car to another person.
As soon as Mangse realized that he had been cheated, he filed a complaint at the Chakan police station. The Chakan police are conducting further investigation.
