Pune: Fraudulent Bail Guarantor Lands in Trouble: Case Registered in Pimpri Chinchwad

Pimpri, 7th May 2024: Pimpri, 7th May 2024: A case has been registered against a guarantor for bail who submitted false documents for bail, leading to charges of defrauding the court in Pimpri Chinchwad. The incident occurred on Sunday, May 5th, at 2:45 PM at the Civil and Criminal Court in Pimpri.

Rajendra Maruti Chavan, aged 56 and a resident of Mangalwar Peth, Pune, has complained to the Pimpri Police Station. The Pimpri Police registered a case against Akash Ashok Kamble, aged 30, and a resident of Chinchwad.

According to police reports, the complainant serves as an assistant superintendent at the Civil and Criminal Court in Pimpri. The accused in this case was present at the Civil and Criminal Court in Pimpri to act as a guarantor for bail. However, the documents he submitted to the court did not belong to him, and some of them were found to be false, resulting in defrauding the court.

In response to this incident, the Pimpri Police have registered a case against the accused, Kamble, under IPC Sections 420 (cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property), 467 (forgery of valuable security, will, etc.), 468 (forgery for purpose of cheating), and 471 (using as genuine a forged document or electronic record). Police Sub Inspector Mudal from the Pimpri Police Station is currently investigating this matter further.
