Pune: Gambling Dens Raided In Vishrambag Area, Case Registered Against 12
Vishrambaug, 31st January 2023: The Social Security Department of the Crime Branch raided a gambling den in the Vishrambaug area. In this action, the police registered a case against 12 people, including the owner of the gambling den. Also, gambling materials, cash worth Rs 25,000, and eight mobiles worth Rs 1.25 lakh have been seized.
Meanwhile, the Social Security Department of the crime branch received information that gambling was being played in a room in the Vishrambag area. After that, a police team raided there. At that time, ten people were found playing cards. Police then detained them. A case was registered against 12 people, including the owner of the gambling den. Reportedly, two of them have run away.
Senior Police Inspector Bharat Jadhav, Assistant Inspector Ashwini Patil, Ajay Rane, Anna Mane, Tushar Bhivarkar, Sandeep Kolge, and others carried out this action.
