Pune Ganesh Visarjan: Mankar Shares 5 Ambulance Locations and Contact Numbers
Pune, 25th September 2026: Ambulances have been stationed at five key locations along the main Ganesh Visarjan procession route in Pune to provide emergency medical assistance to citizens during Friday’s immersion procession, said corporator Raghavendra Bappu Mankar.
Mankar said the initiative has been undertaken through the Raghavendra Bappu Mankar Medical Foundation to ensure that citizens can access emergency medical assistance amid the large crowds expected during the procession.
“Pune’s Ganeshotsav is concluding with the Ganesh Visarjan procession. To ensure that the festival of Vighnaharta Ganraya concludes safely and that ambulances are available if citizens require urgent medical assistance amid the crowds, we have arranged ambulances at key locations along the main procession route,” Mankar said.

Mankar said the medical support has been arranged with the aim of providing prompt assistance to citizens who may require emergency medical attention during the Ganesh Visarjan procession.
Pune’s traditional Ganesh Visarjan processions are expected to draw large crowds across the city’s central areas on Friday as the 2026 Ganeshotsav celebrations conclude.
