Pune: Ganja Worth Rs 1.2 Lakh Seized, One Arrested
Pune 18th July 2023: The Pimpri Chinhwad Police have arrested a 24-year-old person from Bhatnagar area and ganja worth Rs 1.2 lakh has been seized from his possession. The accused identified as Dipak Sikandar Indrekar has been booked by police in the case.
The police team on Monday received information about a person selling ganja in the area. Accordingly, the police laid a trap and the accused was nabbed. Around 4 Kg of ganja has been seized from the accused.
A case in this regard has been registered at Pimpri Police Station under sections 8(c), 20(b)(ii) (b) of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS). Further investigation in the matter is underway.
