Pune Ganpati Visarjan 2026: PMC Plans 275 Medical Camps, 11 Ambulances Across City

Pune, 24th September 2026: The Pune Municipal Corporation’s health department has planned medical camps at 275 locations during Ganeshotsav.
“Health camps are planned at a total of 275 locations,” informed PMC health officer Dr Nina Borade. The locations include major Ganesh mandals and public dispensaries.
The department plans to make a three-bed intensive care unit available for devotees visiting the Shrimant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati Trust in Budhwar Peth. Its staffing plan provides for round-the-clock coverage in three shifts, with medicines and other supplies also to be provided.
For the immersion processions on September 25, Dr Borade said that medical teams will be at immersion sites and ambulance support along procession routes. The department has requested 11 ambulances through the 108 emergency service: five for the processions and six for other crowded locations. It has also sought ambulance support from other organisations.
