Sawant highlighted the introduction of labour cards by the Directorate General Labour Welfare (DGLW), enabling workers to access government schemes for children’s education, housing, and healthcare. He lauded the “double-engine government” of the BJP, both at the centre and in the state, for its efforts to ensure workers live with dignity.
Turning his focus to Maharashtra, Sawant praised the Mahayuti government for prioritising infrastructure development, including advancements in road, rail, airport, and port connectivity, making the state a hub for foreign investment. He contrasted this progress with the interim Mahavikas Aghadi government, during which he claimed many industries relocated from Pune. Sawant asserted that industrial investments surged again under the Mahayuti government, driven by improved facilities and policies.
Sawant called on voters to support the Mahayuti alliance to safeguard industries and uplift the working class. He urged citizens to back Shankar Jagtap in the upcoming election on 20th November, emphasising the need for a decisive victory to continue accelerating development.
