Pune: Gold Jewelry Worth Rs 8.75 Lakh Stolen From Indapur Recovered In Four Hours

Indapur, 6th March 2023: The Indapur Police Station team has succeeded in capturing the jewelry worth Rs 8.75 lakh stolen by thieves in Malwadi near Indapur city within four hours.

More information about this is that on Saturday (4th March) Ashok Ankush Vyawahare (43), a resident of Kshirsagar Vasti, Malwadi, taluka Indapur filed a complaint at Indapur Police Station about someone stealing 17.5 tola gold ornaments from his house.

Accordingly, recognizing the seriousness of the incident, Police Inspector Dilip Pawar of Indapur Police Station directed the detection branch team to investigate the said case.

In the same way, by using different clues and doing a thorough investigation, two accused Sagar Arun Raut (20), a resident of Tembhurni Kosthi lane, and Dada Bali Shendge (21), a resident of Sathenagar, taluka Indapur were interrogated and they confessed to the crime.

17.5 tolas of gold jewelry worth Rs 8.75 lakh stolen from him in the said crime have been revealed within four hours. The accused were arrested for the said crime. Assistant Police Inspector Prakash Pawar informed that they were taken into police custody when they were produced in court.
