Pune, 21st January 2023: Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) Pune Board has recently announced housing lots. Despite increasing the deposit amount for flats under the ‘First come first served’ scheme, the citizens have shown a good response this year. Applications from 1,106 people have been received so far.

MHADA has increased the amount of deposit to be accompanied by the application for affordable housing to prevent middlemen and benefit the needy. The deposit amount under First Come First (FCF) category has been increased to Rs 50,000. The amount in other categories has been increased from Rs five thousand to Rs fifteen thousand. Therefore, it was said that this year’s draw will get less response from citizens. However, the first-come, first-served scheme has received a good response from citizens so far.
