Pune: Goons Riding Bike Harrass Family Driving Four-Wheeler By Not Letting Them Overtake, Detained By Pimpri Police
Aundh, 16th March 2023: A family driving a four-wheeler was harassed by two goons riding a two-wheeler. The incident happened at Aundh-Ravet BRTS road area of Pune on 12th March.
Reportedly, a family with a baby was driving in a four-wheeler when two goons riding a two-wheeler suddenly came in front of the four-wheeler and would not give space for the vehicle to drive. The road was not so crowded but the goons were blocking the four-wheeler while increasing and decreasing the speed of the bike accordingly. They didn’t allow the four-wheeler to overtake although the driver was continuously honking. The bike also had a fancy number plate.
Komal Shinde, a victim in this regard, posted videos of the incident on her Twitter handle, tagging Pimpri Chinchwad Police. “Harassing us on Aundh Ravet BRTS road. Please take action. We were family in a car with baby,” she wrote in her caption.
Taking note of it, Pimpri Police caught the goons on 15th March at around 11.42 pm and informed the citizens via Twitter. The police have also encouraged people to immediately report such incidents.
The police department tweeted, “Action Taken. Citizens are strongly encouraged to not hold back & REPORT any such harassment on 112. We will not spare anyone, indulging in such brazen acts.”
