Pune: Guardian Minister Reviews Work And Locations Before G20 Conference Next Week

Pune, 10th January 2023: The G-20 meeting in Pune will be held next Monday and Tuesday (16th and 17th January). On the occasion of this conference, cultural programs like Puneri Dhol Team, Maidani Khel, Lavani, Jugalbandi, Shiv Vandana, Ganesha Stuti, and Gondhal will be presented.

Guardian Minister Chandrakant Patil suggested that on the occasion of this conference, there will be an opportunity to show the capacity of the city and the state, and all the administrative systems should maintain proper coordination for the successful organization of the conference.

Chandrakant Patil inspected the beautification and development works in the city in the background of the G-20 conference. Divisional Commissioner Saurabh Rao, Municipal Commissioner Vikram Kumar, Police Commissioner Ritesh Kumar, Collector Dr Rajesh Deshmukh, Municipal Additional Commissioner, Kunal Khemnar, and Vikas Dhakane were present on the occasion. J W Marriott Hotel was inspected on this occasion. After that, Patil also reviewed the work. After that, he gave instructions to the administration and the information about the conference in a press conference. Rao gave a computer presentation regarding the preparation for the conference.

More than 150 delegates from 37 countries will be present at this conference. Therefore, the administration has been instructed to take proper care regarding security and royal etiquette. Maharashtra’s industrial potential and investment will be shown on this occasion. Five exhibition halls will be set up next to the meeting venue, which will include information about the works related to the development of infrastructure in the city, a hall displaying the industrial potential of the State Tourism Development Corporation, Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation and Pune, a hall of Maharashtra Khadi and village industry products, women’s and self-help groups’ nets, and an exhibition of bamboo products. A royal banquet has been organized in honour of the guests at Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), said Patil. He also appealed to the people to participate in this process and contribute to the success of the conference.
