Pune: Case Registered For Creation Of Fake Approval Certificates For CBSE Schools, Over 600 Schools In Maharashtra Under Scanner

Pune, 10th January 2023: A case was registered at Samarth police station in connection with the creation of a fake No Objection Certificate (NOC) for affiliation of city schools with the CBSE syllabus.
Education officer Sunanda Waghmare (43) has filed a complaint at Samarth police station. A case has been registered against an unknown person in connection with the creation of a fake certificate of validity.
Creative Education Society runs Public Schools and Junior Colleges in the Secondary Education Department of Pune Zilla Parishad. Waghmare has said in the complaint that the schools and junior colleges have been defrauded by submitting fake non-validity certificates before July 2022 regarding affiliation to the CBSE curriculum. A complaint was filed by the Department of Secondary Education after it came to light that the school was running on the CBSE curriculum without a certificate and approval regarding affiliation with the CBSE syllabus.
Police Sub-Inspector Meera Trimbke is investigating under the guidance of Senior Police Inspector Ramesh Sathe.
