Pune: Hadapsar Police Arrest Two Thieves, Seize Ten Stolen Bikes Worth Rs 7.3 lakh

Hadapsar, 18th April 2023: Hadapsar police officials have apprehended two thieves and recovered ten stolen two-wheelers worth Rs 7.3 lakh from their possession.

The accused have been identified as Datta Shivaji Dahiphale (18) from Hadapsar and Baburao Dharmaraj Tonde (18) from Beed district.

Senior Police Inspector Arvind Gokule, in-charge of the Hadapsar police station, stated that five of the ten bikes were stolen from the Hadapsar area, while three were stolen from the Beed district. The owners of two bikes are yet to be identified, and further investigation is ongoing.

The operation conducted by the Hadapsar police since January 2023 has resulted in the detection of 27 two-wheeler and one four-wheeler theft cases. The seized valuables are worth Rs 23.5 lakh.

The investigation team included Senior Police Inspector Arvind Gokule, Inspectors (Crime) Digambar Shinde, Vishwas Dagle, Assistant Police Inspector Vijaykumar Shinde, Sub-Inspector Avinash Shinde, and policemen Sushil Lonkar, Sandeep Rathod, Sameer Pandule, Sachin Jadhav, Shahid Sheikh, Prashant Dudhal, Nikhil Pawar, Prashant Tonpe, Atul Pandharkar, Bhagwan Hambarde, Anirudh Sonawane, Ajit Madne, Rashid Shaikh, Manoj Survase, Amol Danke, Kundalik Kesarkar and Chandrakant Rejitwad.
