Pune-Harangul Daily Special Trains Extended Till February 28, 2026
Pune, 20th December 2025: Central Railway has announced the continuation of several special train services affecting Pune and nearby sections to manage additional passenger rush. These extensions will be effective up to February 2026, with no changes in timings, composition, or halts unless specifically mentioned.
Pune–Harangul / Harangul–Pune Daily Specials
Train Nos. 01487/01488 Daily Special Trains, earlier notified to run till 31 December 2025, have now been extended up to 28 February 2026 (59 trips each) with revised originating and terminating stations during the period:
Train No. 01487 Pune–Harangul Daily Special: 01.01.2026 to 26.01.2026
Train No. 01487 Hadapsar–Harangul Daily Special: 27.01.2026 to 28.02.2026
Train No. 01488 Harangul–Pune Daily Special: 01.01.2026 to 25.01.2026
Train No. 01488 Harangul–Hadapsar Daily Special: 26.01.2026 to 28.02.2026
Solapur–Daund Unreserved Daily Specials (Pune Section Connectivity)
Train Nos. 01461/01462 Solapur–Daund Unreserved Daily Specials, which pass through the Pune division area, have also been extended to run daily up to 28 February 2026 (59 trips each).
Other Extended Services Linked to Pune Division
Train Nos. 01435 Solapur–Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Mumbai Weekly Special and 01436 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Mumbai–Solapur Weekly Special have been extended up to 24 February 2026 and 25 February 2026 respectively, providing continued connectivity relevant to Pune and adjoining regions.
Reservation and Booking
Reservations for these special trains on special charges will be available at all computerized reservation centres and through the IRCTC website. Unreserved tickets can be booked at station booking counters or via the UTS mobile application. Passengers are advised to travel with valid tickets.
