Pune, 16th February 2923: Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) has announced its stand by supporting Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) for the by-elections for Chinchwad and Kasba Peth constituencies. However, it was announced that MNS would not participate in the campaign. But now there has been a heated quarrel between Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and MNS on Twitter. After MNS’s city president Sainath Babar’s harsh criticism of NCP’s city president Prashant Jagtap, he also made a venomous comment saying; ‘Has your master taken my ‘contract’.

With the support of MNS, the politics of Pune has started heating up as there is a Congress candidate in the town. But the supporters of NCP have been at the forefront of the campaign. Therefore, MNS’s Sainath Babar criticized NCP’s City President Prashant Jagtap. A Twitter war is going on between Pune NCP city president Prashant Jagtap and MNS city president Sainath Babar. Jagtap retaliated with harsh words to Babar’s harsh language criticism. This dispute started between them in the background of Kasba Peth assembly constituency by-elections in the city.

MNS wanted Ganesh Bhokare earlier for the Kasba by-election in Pune. But MNS decided not to contest in the by-election. Raj Thackeray announced that he will support BJP in Kasba and Chinchwad by-elections.
