Pune: Helmet Saves Rider’s Life in Shocking Pimpri Accident Caught on Camera
Pimpri-Chinchwad, 10th October 2025: A video capturing a violent collision between a speeding two-wheeler and a car on Pimpri’s Link Road has gone viral on social media. The accident, which occurred around 4 pm on Thursday under the flyover, has once again underscored the life-saving importance of wearing helmets.
According to eyewitnesses, a two-wheeler traveling at high speed crashed head-on into a car that was taking a turn on the road. The impact was so strong that the rider hit the car’s windshield and was flung a few feet away. Despite the severity of the crash, the rider escaped with minor injuries — thanks to his helmet.
The CCTV footage of the incident shows major damage to both the two-wheeler and the car, but no serious injuries were reported. After a brief exchange of blame, both parties reportedly left the scene.
Traffic officials said the incident serves as a crucial reminder of road safety. “Helmets save lives. Riders must wear them properly at all times,” said an officer from the Pimpri-Chinchwad Traffic Police, urging citizens to follow basic safety rules.
