Pune: Hindustan Antibiotics Limited To Be Revived, Parliamentary Standing Committee Visits HAL

Pune, 15th June 2022: The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Chemicals and Fertilizers, led by Ms. Kanimozhi Karunanidhi, Chairperson and Members of Parliament (Lok Sabha & Rajya Sabha) visited Hindustan Antibiotics Ltd., Pune on 13th and 14th June, 2022. The other Parliamentarians of the Standing Committee were  Deepak Baij, Prataprao Patil Chikhlikar, Kripanath Mallah,  Prabhubhai Vasava, Satyadev Pachauri, Arun Kumar Sagar,  Ayodhya Rami Reddy Alla,  Jayprakash Nishad, Vijay Pal Singh Tomar along with HK Hajong, Economic Advisor, Department of Pharmaceuticals and other senior officials of the Lok Sabha Secretariat. The Parliamentary Committee visited Hindustan Antibiotics Ltd., factory at Pimpri and gained hands on experience of the manufacturing facilities available, the products and were briefed about the future plans of the company. The Standing Committee Members were given Power Point Presentation. The Committee members assured that they would positively look into the difficulties faced by the company and recommend measures for its revival.
