Pune: Hinjewadi Police Handcuff Robbers Preparing To Rob Petrol Pump

Hinjewadi, 8th November 2022: Hinjewadi police have arrested five robbers who were preparing to rob a petrol pump in Hinjewadi, the IT hub of Pune. One crossbow, two pistols, two live cartridges, and pepper powder have been seized by the police from them.

 

In this case, five people have been handcuffed by the Hinjewadi police. Aniket alias Monya Anil Shinde (20), Avinash Ghanshyam Pawar (20), Ismal Karim Sheikh (20), Rameshwar Sahebrao Togare (20), and Suraj Niranjan Pawar (21) are the arrested robbers.

 

 

According to the information given by the police, Assistant Police Inspector Ram Gomare received information that some persons were preparing to carry out an armed robbery near the Bapuji temple on Ghotawade Maan Road. Accordingly, a police team was formed under the guidance of Senior Police Inspector Dr Vivek Muglikar.

 

Police stopped the vehicle at some distance from Bapuji Temple and caught the accused. The police investigation revealed they were preparing to rob the Bharat Petrol Pump at Phase Two in Hinjewadi.
