Pune: Hoteliers Should Manage Solid Waste; Commissioner Shekhar Singh’s Appeal
Pimpri, 15th April 2023: To keep the city of Pimpri-Chinchwad clean and beautiful, Municipal Commissioner Shekhar Singh has appealed to hoteliers to implement solid waste management more effectively.
Commissioner Singh interacted with the hoteliers of the city as part of the program ‘Interaction with Businessmen’. Additional Commissioner Jitendra Wagh, Deputy Commissioner Ajay Charthankar, Civil Engineer Srikant Savane, Ramdas Tambe, Assistant Commissioner Ravikiran Ghodke, Vijaykumar Thorat along with President of Pimpri-Chinchwad Hotel and Restaurant Association Padmanath Shetty, Working President Govind Pansare were present in this occasion.
Hoteliers have a great contribution to the development of the city. This business is employing many people. The water supply of clean water will be provided to the hotel smoothly. Commissioner Singh assured that action will be taken against encroachment on the hotel premises.
The commissioner also cleared the doubts of the hoteliers. A proposal was made on behalf of the association to employ transgender citizens in the hotel business. Commissioner gave a positive response to it.
