Pune: Husband Strangles His Wife To Death Over Minor Dispute
Pimpri, 3rd December 2022: A man strangled his wife to death over a minor family dispute. The incident took place on Friday (December 1) night between 10.45 pm and 11.00 pm at Morayagiri Apartment, Pimple Nilakh.
The deceased woman has been identified as Vrushali Ashwin Badade (34). In this case, Suryakant Vamanrao Memane (60), a resident of Kadam Vasti, Haveli taluka, lodged a complaint at Sangvi Police Station. Accordingly, the police have arrested the accused, Ashwin Vasantrao Badade (40), a resident of Pimple Nilakh.
According to the information given by the police, Ashwin and Vrushali were married for 10 years. They have two children. However, for some time, they were quarrelling over various issues.
A similar fight took place between them on Friday as well. Accused Ashwin beat up Vrushali and strangled her to death due to the anger during this fight. Police Sub-Inspector SB Kadam is conducting further investigation into this case.
