Pune: IAF Helicopter Makes Emergency Landing Near Baramati, All Crew Members Safe

Pune (Maharashtra), 1st December 2022: A Chetak helicopter of IAF carried out a precautionary landing in an open area short of Baramati airfield today due to a suspected technical issue.
“The crew and aircraft are safe. Recovery of the helicopter is underway”, said Wing Commander Ashish Moghe,
PRO, Air Force.
The incident took place around 10 am. The helicopter landed on the farm of Hanumant Dnyandev Atole on Khandaj-Niravagaj road. There were four persons including the pilot in the helicopter, said Police Inspector Kiran Avchar.
Another helicopter of the IAF reached the spot with the technical support team.
