Pune: IMD Predicts Rain In Maharashtra Between 25 To 27 April

Pune, 24th April 2021: The upper air circulation and a low-pressure belt from Marathwada to the Southern coast of Tamil Nadu will bring rain along with thunderstorm, lightning and gusty winds from April 25 to 27 in Maharashtra.
“The State weather is governed by the circulation over Marathwada. There is little moisture incursion in all four meteorological subdivisions of the State. The weather will remain cloudy”, said Dr Anupam Kashyapi, Head, Weather & Air Pollution Monitoring Unit, Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), Pune.
He informed, “There would rain at isolated places in Pune, Ahmednagar, Solapur, Sangli, Satara which will be accompanied by thundering, lightning. Similarly, there would be thundering, lightning and gusty winds in Central Maharashtra, Central Marathwada and Vidarbha.”
Isolated rain will be there in the Konkan and Goa region too on April 27 and April 28.
Weather in Pune
“On April 25 and 26 rain is expected in selected pockets. There would be gusty winds associated with a thunderstorm, lightning. The maximum temperature will not rise above 40 degree Celsius, it will hover over 37 to 39 degree Celsius while the minimum temperature will be between 19 degree Celsius to 21 degree Celsius”, he stated.
“After that, the sky will be clear and the weather would be dry, but again after that on April 28 and 29 the weather would be more cloudy”, he said.
Weather across the country
“Western disturbances over North Pakistan can be seen which is moving towards the northeast and because of that an induced circulation over north Rajashtan while an upper air circulation is present in Marathwada region and from there a trough line is available up to South coastal Tamil Nadu”, he explained.
He also added that there is an upper air cyclonic circulation over Odisha.
