Pune: Inclusive Celebration on International Day of Persons with Disabilities in Lohegaon
Lohegaon, 3rd December 2023: Today, on the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, Sarth Foundation’s “Dawn Rehabilitation Center” marked the occasion with a unique celebration. Children from the center embarked on a spirited trek from 7 am to 10 am, culminating in the symbolic planting of saplings on the hilltop next to D.Y.Patil Knowledge City.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from parents, teachers, and volunteers, whose collective efforts contributed to making the celebration a grand success. The inclusive nature of the event aimed to foster a sense of community and shared responsibility.
Expressing gratitude to everyone involved, the foundation acknowledged the parents, teachers, and volunteers for their unwavering support. Special commendation was reserved for the children who not only completed the trek without any tantrums but also infused the event with joy and enthusiasm.
