Pune: Indian Army Commences Online Application Process for 50th Technical Entry Scheme (TES) Course
Pune, 1st June 2023: The Indian Army has initiated the online application process for the 50th Technical Entry Scheme (TES) course. This admission process is exclusively open for male candidates who have completed their 12th grade.
Candidates who have passed the 12th grade in the Science branch, specifically in Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics with a minimum aggregate of 60 percent, are eligible to apply. Additionally, candidates who have appeared for the JEE Main 2023 examination can also submit their application.
Unlike traditional written examinations, the selection process for TES involves an interview conducted by the Service Selection Board (SSB). Successful candidates from the SSB interview will proceed for training at the Officers Training Academy in Gaya, Bihar. The duration of the TES training program is five years. Upon completion, candidates will be commissioned as officers in the technical department of the Indian Army. The age limit for applicants is set between 16 and 19 years. Only a total of 90 seats are available for this admission process.
