Pune- Indian National Flag hoisted on the tallest building in the city

Pune, January 25: Indicating the changing skyline of Pune and the spirit of nationalism, the Indian Tri Colour has been hoisted on the ‘Amanora Gateway Towers T – 100’, the Tallest Building in the city to commemorate 71st Republic Day.

This 43 storied building will which is being developed by City Corporation Limited at the Amanora Township at Hadapsar has the height of 149.50 meters and would house 173 apartments. This building would also have the distinction of being the tallest building in the state of Maharashtra, excluding Mumbai. A 30 feet tall and 20 feet wide flag has been placed on a 60 feet long pole which has been proudly installed on the roof top of this building.
“This is a clear indicator of the changing skyline of Pune and the growth that it has witnessed and shall be witnessing in the days to come. This is also in sync with India’s growth story for which we all feel proud and more so on the Republic Day. We have already pledged to develop a self-sustained and truly integrated township and thus contribute our bit in Nation building”, said Aniruddha Deshpande, Managing Director, City Corporation Limited.
“As a responsible developer we have taken all the measures prescribed in the National Building Code (NBC) for this building. It is equipped with all active and passive fire protection and firefighting measures. In addition, it is planed with Fire Tower, Fire Check Floors and refuge areas along with the ultramodern fire alarm and suppression system”, he added.
