Pune: Indian Navy and Coast Guard Trainees Excel in Direct Entry Engineering Mechanic and Diploma Holder Courses at INS Shivaji, Lonavala

Lonavala, 7th April 2023: 25 trainees of Direct Entry Engineering Mechanic (DEME) and 21 trainees of Direct Entry Diploma Holder (DEDH) from the Indian Navy and the Indian Coast Guard passed out on successful completion of professional training at INS Shivaji, Lonavala on 6th April.

During their rigorous training, the trainees were exposed to the operation and maintenance of engineering equipment fitted on marine platforms. Parade, Sports, adventure activities were some of the highlights of the course, which was instrumental towards their overall grooming.

The course completion parade was reviewed by Commodore Mohit Goel, NM Commanding Officer, INS Shivaji. Sahil Singhal NVK(ME) from DEME and Ranjit Kumar YTK(ER) from DEDH were adjudged first in course.
