Pune: Indubai Dhakane – The Woman Whose Aadhar Card Was Misused by Manorama Khedkar
Pune, 19th July 2024: New revelations about the controversial Khedkar family are emerging daily. Manorama Khedkar, the mother of Probationary IAS Officer Puja Khedkar, used a different name—Indubai—to book a hotel. There is now a possibility that the real person behind the name Indubai and her family might face trouble.
A case has been filed against Manorama Khedkar for threatening farmers in Mulshi Taluka with a gun. To evade arrest, she obtained an Aadhar card under the name Indubai Dhakane.
Manorama used a cab to travel from Pune to Mahad, and the Aadhar card she used belonged to Indubai Dhakane, the mother of the cab driver, Dadasaheb Dhakane. By misusing this Aadhar card, Manorama Khedkar booked a room in Mahad. The Dhakane family may now face trouble due to Manorama Khedkar’s actions.
The Pune Rural Police Force struggled to locate Manorama Khedkar because she had relocated to Mahad under a different name. However, the police put her phone under surveillance. It was activated once on 17th July at 11 PM, allowing the police to track her location. Manorama Khedkar was arrested after four hours, around 3:30 AM on 18th July.
