Pune: Industries in Hadapsar Unite for Waste-to-Energy Awareness Seminar

Hadapsar, 29th April 2026: The Hadapsar Industries Association (HIA), in collaboration with the Ramtekdi Industries Association (RIA), organised a seminar and presentation on “Waste to Energy” at the MCCIA Auditorium in Hadapsar. The event brought together industry leaders, experts, and stakeholders to discuss sustainable waste management and energy solutions.
According to the organisers, the seminar aimed to provide a platform for professionals to explore innovative technologies such as waste gasification, briquette manufacturing, and renewable energy practices to reduce industrial waste and promote sustainability.
The session featured expert speakers from leading organisations. G D Enviro presented insights on gasification plants for effective waste management, while Gangotree Energee showcased methods for converting dry waste into pellets and briquettes. Necon Green Energy discussed advancements in wind power solutions. The presentations focused on practical and scalable approaches that industries can adopt to convert waste into valuable energy resources.
Speakers highlighted the importance of adopting eco-friendly practices within industrial sectors, noting that waste-to-energy technologies can significantly reduce landfill dependency while contributing to cleaner energy production.
The Chairman of HIA emphasised the association’s commitment to long-term action and industry representation. He said the organisation would continue to push for sustainable solutions and organise more such initiatives to address industry concerns and drive practical change.
