Pune: Industry Grievance Redressal Cell Set Up at Pune Collectorate to Address Chakan Industry complaints

Chakan, 20th August 2026: A dedicated Industry Grievance Redressal Cell has been established at the Pune district collectorate to facilitate speedy resolution of pending issues faced by industries in Chakan and other parts of the district while obtaining government approvals, permissions and services.

The move comes amid a growing influx of new industries and Global Capability Centres (GCCs) in Chakan and across Pune district. The cell will coordinate with various government departments to expedite the resolution of industry-related complaints and pending matters.

A high-level committee headed by Pune district collector Jitendra Dudi has already been constituted under a state planning department resolution to address road repairs, traffic congestion and traffic management issues in the Chakan industrial area.

Citizens, entrepreneurs and other stakeholders can register industry-related complaints with the cell by calling 020-26130097 or emailing ([email protected]).

While submitting a complaint, applicants have been asked to provide details of the issue, the name of the concerned industry, contact number and relevant documents or other available information.

Officials said the information would help the administration take prompt cognisance of complaints and coordinate with the concerned departments for necessary action.

The grievance cell is expected to play a key role in ensuring timely resolution of difficulties faced by industries in Chakan and across Pune district while accessing government services and obtaining statutory permissions.
