Pune: Injuries Reported as ST Bus with Brake Failure Collides with Vehicles near Ramtekdi Bridge
Hadapsar, 22nd November 2023: An accident took place last night near the Ramtekdi bridge in Hadapsar when a Sangola to Swargate State Transport (ST) bus experienced brake failure. At approximately 7:30 pm, when the bus was just 100 feet away from the bridge, the driver alerted the conductor about the malfunctioning brakes, causing panic among the 30 passengers on board.
In the ensuing chaos, the bus, unable to come to a halt, collided with two motorcycles and three four-wheelers within proximity. The force of the impact resulted in injuries to four to five individuals who were promptly rushed to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
The accident triggered a substantial traffic jam in the area, disrupting the normal flow of vehicles.
