Pune, 13th October 2021: After a gap of one year, the Pune International Marathon will be held on February 27, 2022, instead of the scheduled December, informed Abhay Chhajed, President, Organising Committee, Pune International Marathon.
He informed that the marathon will be held following all COVID preventive norms stipulated by the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC).
Only runners above 18 years who are fully vaccinated will be allowed to participate in the marathon. The running kits will be delivered at the residences of the enrolled participants.
Sanitizers and thermal guns will be available at every checkpoint on the marathon route. The races of each group will begin separately. The marathon of only the elite group will be flagged off while other groups will start their race at the time prescribed by the organisers.
There will be no prize distribution ceremony and the trophies will be delivered at the residence of winners including international runners, informed Chhajed.Follow Punekar News:
