Pune: IOCL to clash with ONGC in finals of men’s event at 43rd PSPB Inter-Unit Lawn Tennis Tournament
Pune, 28th November 2024: Indian Oil will clash with GAIL in the finals of the Men’s team event at the Bharat Petroleum Organized 43rd PSPB Inter-Unit Lawn Tennis Tournament which is being organised by Bharat Petroleum and played at the Deccan Gymkhana Tennis Courts
In the Men’s Team Event, Semifinal
ONGC outplayed OIL 2-0 with Vishnu Vardhan and Yuki Bhambri winning their singles matches in the finals they will take on IOCL who ousted GAIL with Sumit Nagal and Divij Sharan powering the team
In the men’s semifinal IOC’s Sumit Nagal scored a 8-6 win over Ranjeet VM of ONGC. In the other semifinals, ONGC’s Vishnu Vardhan secured an identical 8-6 win over his ONGC teammate Yuki Bhambri.
In the Women’s Singles Semifinal Round BPCL’s Vaishnavi Adkar scored a 6-4 win over GAIL player Sohini Mohanty, in the finals, she will take on IOCL’s Riya Bhatia who outplayed Laxmishree Dandu of GAIL 6-2.
