Pune: ISAMPE National Conference on Composites (INCCOM-19) 2025

Vishrantwadi, 28th January 2025: The Research and Development Establishment (Engineers) [R&DE(Engrs)], Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO), and the Indian Society for Advancement of Materials and Process Engineering (ISAMPE) Pune Chapter are proud to announce the 19th ISAMPE National Conference on Composites (INCCOM-19). This prestigious event, themed “Innovative Technologies in Composites,” will take place from 30-31 January 2025 at the Four Points Sheraton, Pune.
The conference will be inaugurated by Dr. Samir V. Kamat, DD(R&D) & Chairman, DRDO, in the presence of esteemed guests including Prof. Prateek Kishore, DG ACE Cluster, Dr. Makarand Joshi, Director, R&DE(Engrs), and Dr. A. Rajarajan, Director, Satish Dhawan Space Center and President of ISAMPE.
INCCOM-19 Highlights:
Innovative Technologies: Presentations on advanced composite materials by leading minds from R&D organizations, academia, and industry.
Technical Papers: Over 50 technical papers covering the latest research and developments.

R&DE(Engrs), a DRDO laboratory renowned for its pioneering work in combat engineering and defence technologies, is playing a pivotal role in the organization of this event. The laboratory is at the forefront of India’s composite revolution, developing innovative products such as Stealth Radomes for aircraft, Sonar Domes for naval platforms, Composite Military Bridges, and Composite Infantry Combat Vehicles (ICVs). It has also established indigenous out-of-autoclave manufacturing techniques such as Vacuum Assisted Resin Transfer Molding (VARTM) and Resin Film Infusion (RFI), enabling low-cost, high-performance composites fabrication with structural health monitoring capabilities.
