Pune-Jabalpur Weekly Special Train Extended Till December 2030
Pune, 30th January 2026: The operational period of the Jabalpur–Pune Weekly Special train service has been extended by Central Railway, with services now scheduled to run until December 2030, according to the latest railway notification.
As per the details, Train No. 02132 Jabalpur–Pune Special, which operates every Sunday, has been extended from March 1, 2026, to December 29, 2030. In the return direction, Train No. 02131 Pune–Jabalpur Special, running every Monday, will operate from March 2, 2026, to December 30, 2030.
The trains will continue to run on their existing days, timings, composition, and stoppages, as notified earlier. The service is operated as a Train on Demand (TOD) to cater to passenger requirements.
Reservation details: Bookings for the extended trips of Train Nos. 02132/02131 will open on February 1, 2026, at all computerized Passenger Reservation System (PRS) counters and through the IRCTC website. The trains will run on special charges.
