Pune-Jammu Tawi Special Train Canceled On Monday

Pune, 22 August 2021: Special train number 01077 Pune-Jammu Tawi Express leaving Pune on Monday 23rd August is canceled due to farmers’ agitation in Firozpur Division of Northern Railway, railways informed through a press release today.
Farmers in Punjab are seeking clearance by the state government of their dues amounting to more than Rs 200 crore, along with a hike in the State Assured Price (SAP) of sugarcane cultivating farmers. Demonstrations are being held in different parts of the state by the farmers.
