Pune: Kali Bari Dehu Road Marks Beginning of Durga Puja 2026 With Khuti Pujo
Pimpri Chinchwad, 24th August 2026: Kali Bari Dehu Road, under the Bangiya Krishti Parishad (BKP), marked the beginning of its Durga Puja 2026 celebrations with the traditional Khuti Pujo ceremony on August 23.
The ceremony was conducted by the temple priest according to traditional rituals and customs in the presence of BKP trustee members. Brig. (Retd.) S. B. Ray, Patron of the BKP Trust, also attended the ceremony.
Women members, devotees and members of the wider BKP community participated in the religious proceedings, adding to the festive and community spirit of the occasion.
A special bhog prasad was served to devotees following the puja.
The Khuti Pujo marked the auspicious beginning of the 53rd year of Durga Puja celebrations at Kali Bari Dehu Road, setting the stage for the community’s preparations for Durga Puja 2026.
