Pune: Kiran Gosavi’s Police Custody Extended Till 8th November

Pune, 5th November 2021: Kiran Gosavi, a witness of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in the Aryan Khan drugs case, was arrested by Pune city police on charges of cheating a youth promising him a job in Malaysia.

After that, another case was registered against him at the Wanwadi police station.

A judicial magistrate court had remanded Gosavi to police custody till November 5th. Today, he was again produced before the court which extended his custody till November 8th.

According to police, Gosavi claimed to be a private detective and had lured many youngsters promising them jobs abroad. He was also accused of extortion.

He was absconding in the crime of cheating a young man in Pune three years ago by luring him for a job in Malaysia. The case is registered with the Vishrambaug police station.

He came into the limelight after a photo with Aryan Khan, who was arrested at a cruise party in Mumbai, went viral.

Pune police had issued a lookout notice to him a few days back. He was arrested from a lodge at Mangdewadi in Katraj by the anti-extortion cell of the Pune police crime branch.

A total of four cases have been registered against Gosavi in Kapurbawdi, Andheri and Kalwa police stations in Mumbai.
