Pune: Kolhapur Man Alleges Drugging and Blackmail by Woman in Pune; Police Probe Underway

Kothrud, 26th November 2025: Kothrud Police have launched an investigation after a man from Kolhapur filed a complaint alleging that he was drugged and assaulted by a woman who reportedly posed as a lawyer. The complaint claims the incidents involved coercion, threats, and attempts at blackmail across multiple locations in Pune and Kolhapur.

According to the complainant, the accused allegedly administered a sedative to incapacitate him before carrying out the assault. The victim further alleged that explicit photographs were taken during the ordeal and subsequently used to demand money.

The complainant stated that the accused attempted assaults at two separate locations and forcibly moved him to additional sites where further incidents allegedly took place.

Kothrud Police have registered a case and confirmed that an investigation is underway to verify the claims and gather evidence.
