Pune: Lawyer Arrested For Assaulting Assistant Police Inspector
Market Yard, 31st December 2022: An incident where the lawyer assaulted the assistant police inspector took place in the market yard area. In this regard, the lawyer was arrested for obstructing a public servant’s work.
The arrested lawyer has been identified as Pratik Ankush Taware (35), a resident of Burani Colony, Market Yard. In this regard, Assistant Police Inspector Madan Kamble has filed a complaint at Market Yard Police Station.
According to police, Taware got into an argument with Harshal Lahote, who lives next door. After getting information that a fight was going on in Burani Colony in the middle of the night, API Kamble went there.
He tried to intervene but Taware pushed Kamble stating that he is a lawyer and no one can do anything to him. Taware hit the key in his hand on Kamble’s face. As a result, Kamble got injured near his left eye. Taware has been arrested. Police Sub-Inspector Shinde is investigating the case further.
