Pune: Legal Action Initiated Against Duo for Deliberately Disconnecting Electricity to Blue Ridge Society in Hinjawadi
Hinjawadi, 13th January 2024: A case has been registered against two individuals for intentionally cutting off the electricity supply to Blue Ridge Society, Phase One, in Hinjawadi. The incident happened on the night of 31st December 2023.
The accused, identified as Mahadev Jaichand Puri (30, resident of Hinjawadi) and Abhijit Kamble, face legal consequences for their alleged deliberate act of endangering lives.
The complaint was filed by Sandeep Santosh Borkar, a resident of the Blue Ridge Society, who reported the incident to the Hinjawadi Police Station.
As per the police report, Mahadev and Abhijit were initially involved in electrical work within Borkar’s society. However, on the night of December 31, the accused individuals purportedly entered the society without authorisation and intentionally disconnected the electricity supply, leading to significant inconvenience for the residents.
The case against Mahadev Jaichand Puri and Abhijit Kamble has been registered under the charges of endangering people’s lives due to the deliberate disruption of essential services. Authorities at the Hinjawadi Police Station have initiated a thorough investigation into the matter.
