Pune-Lonavla Local Passengers Demand Permission For Travel

Lonavla, 10th August 2021: Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has permitted citizens who have taken two doses of corona vaccine to travel in Mumbai local from August 15. Similarly, Pune-Lonavla local passengers are demanding that the citizens who have taken two doses of the Corona vaccine should get permission for traveling.

In many villages and cities between Lonavla and Pune, thousands of people travel by train to work. For the last one and a half years, these citizens had to spend almost half of their salary on transport as the railways have denied permission to travel based on state government guidelines.

People are demanding that those who have taken two doses of the Corona vaccine and have completed 14 days with the second dose should be allowed to travel in Pune-Lonavla local.

At present only government employees, emergency services staff, women, have been allowed to travel in the local train.
