Pune: Maharashtra DGP Releases Book “Police Patalancha Sarathi”

Pune, 15th February 2023: Director General of Police of Maharashtra State, Rajnish Seth, published the book “Police Patalancha Sarathi.”

The publication was attended by several senior officials, including Pune Police Commissioner Retesh Kumaarr, Pimpri Chinchwad Police Commissioner Vinay Chaubey, Additional DG Amitabh Gupta, Sunil Ramanand, Prashant Burde, Special IG Sudhir Hiremath, Sunil Phulari, DIG Sanjay Shinde, SP Pankaj Deshmukh and Jyoti Kshirsagar.

The book, which has been published by the Centre for Police Research (CPR) Pune, includes over 50 laws to increase the knowledge of Patils regarding laws. The preface of the book has been written by Director General (Rtd) Shri Ashok Dhiware IPS. Senior social worker Anna Hazare and Revenue Minister Radha Krishna Vikhepatil have also congratulated the book through a letter.

The Police Patil is an essential element of village-level governance, and this book will be very useful for them. It is expected that this book will be helpful to all common citizens as well as newly entered police officers. The book has been written by Deputy Superintendent of Police Dr Ram Pathare.

The book’s release is an important event, highlighting the need to educate people about the laws and the role of police in maintaining law and order. The Maharashtra State Police is committed to ensuring the safety and security of the people and will continue to take such initiatives to educate people about the laws and their rights.
