Pune: Maharashtra Gazetted Civil Services Preliminary Exam 2024 Scheduled for April 27
Pune, 29th December 2023: The Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) has announced the schedule for the Maharashtra Gazetted Civil Services Combined Preliminary Examination 2024, which is set to take place on April 27. The examination will be conducted at 37 district centres across the Maharashtra State, and the application process for this exam will be open from January 5 to January 25.
The Maharashtra Gazetted Civil Services Combined Preliminary Examination 2024 aims to fill a total of 274 posts in various cadres. These include 205 posts in the State Service Cadre in the General Administration Department, 26 posts in the Maharashtra Civil Service Engineering Service Cadre in the Soil and Water Conservation Department, and 43 posts in the Maharashtra Forest Service Cadre in the Revenue and Forest Department.
Applicants can submit their applications for these posts until January 25, and the exam fee can be paid through online mode. The deadline for fee payment through currency is January 29.
Additionally, MPSC has provided the schedule for the Main Examinations:
– MPSC Main Examination 2024: December 14 to 16, 2024
– Maharashtra Civil Service Engineering Service Main Examination 2024: November 23
– Maharashtra Forest Service Main Examination 2024: December 28 to 31
It is important to note that any changes in the number of posts and reservations will be included in the notification for the main examination. MPSC clarified that, until the finalization of the preliminary examination result, all the posts received by the government through revised or additional requisitions will be considered for the preliminary examination result.
