Pune: Ambulance Driver and Helper Booked for Molesting Lady Doctor

Pimpri, 29th December 2023: A distressing incident of molestation has led to the registration of a case against an ambulance driver and his helper at the Alandi Police Station in Pimpri. The incident reportedly occurred between November 30 and December 10, 2023.

The case has been filed against the helper, Gorakhnath Darade (40 years old), and the driver, Shivprasad Sasane (41 years old). The complainant is a 38-year-old female doctor employed in ambulance number 108, which provides emergency services. On November 30, while she was seated in the driver’s seat, Gorakhnath allegedly behaved inappropriately, making lewd remarks.

The situation escalated when Shiv Prasad, the driver, also misbehaved with the lady doctor on December 10. He not only subjected her to abuse but also issued threats, stating, ‘I am a snake friend (sarp mitra), and if you complain about me, I will end your game.’ Disturbed by these incidents, the female doctor promptly reported the matter to the Alandi police station.

Constable Gaikwad is currently handling the investigation into these serious allegations.
