Pune: Mahayuti Candidate Muralidhar Mohol To File Nomination On April 25 For Lok Sabha Elections

Pune, 23rd April 2024: Muralidhar Mohol, representing the BJP, Shiv Sena, NCP, MNS, RPI(A) Grand Alliance (Mahayuti) for the Pune Lok Sabha Constituency, is scheduled to file his nomination papers on Thursday, April 25. This announcement was made during a press conference organized by the Mahayuti coalition today.

The press conference witnessed the presence of key figures including Grand Alliance candidate Muralidhar Mohol, BJP city president Dheeraj Ghate, NCP city president Deepak Mankar, Shiv Sena joint communication chief Ajay Bhosle, MNS leader Rajendra alias Babu Wagaskar, RPI city president Sanjay Sonawane, Lok Sabha in-charge Srinath Bhimale, and representatives from various political factions.

According to Ghate, the nomination process will be preceded by a padayatra starting from the memorial of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj at Kothrud, commencing at nine in the morning and concluding at the Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj Memorial in Deccan. The padayatra is expected to see the presence of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Ajitdada Pawar, Union Minister RPI President Ramdas Athawale, and Shirur Lok Sabha candidate Shivajirao Adharao Patil.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to hold a public meeting for the Pune, Baramati, Shirur, and Maval Lok Sabha constituencies on the evening of April 29. Preceding the meeting, a road show has been planned. Mahayuti has organized meetings to ensure the success of both these significant events, with an expected attendance of one lakh citizens for the nomination filing.

Speaking on behalf of the NCP, Mankar expressed full support for Muralidhar Mohol, highlighting his commitment to social causes, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. Mankar expressed confidence in Mohol’s candidacy, anticipating a strong voter turnout in his favor. Additionally, MNS leader Wagaskar outlined plans for a rally in all six assembly constituencies, emphasizing Mohol’s popularity among Punekars and the coalition’s prospects for victory.

The press conference concluded with assurances from all party city presidents that the Mahayuti coalition’s collective efforts would pave the way for success in the upcoming elections.
